Zen of Joy Questionnaire
“How Joyous Am I”
This is modeled after the tests that researchers use to determine people’s happiness levels.
The difference here is we are looking at your level of “Authentic Joy” which is not dependent on outside circumstances.
As Laughter Yoga Founder (The Giggling Guru) Dr. Madan Kataria points out: Happiness is determined by outside circumstances while Joy is internal and independent of anything that happens to us.
In rating yourself, think about how each question applies to you most of the time.
Rate each statement on a scale of 1 to 5:
1 = I never feel this
2 = I occasionally feel this
3 = I sometimes feel this
4 = I feel this most of the time
5 = I feel this strongly almost all the time
1. I often feel a warm glow in my belly that causes an inner smile, like a sweet fragrance spreading all over my body.

Rate yourself:
If your score is 120 – 150: You are in touch with your “Authentic Joy” and are enjoying increasing success.
If your score is 90 – 119: Your Authentic Joy plays a large role in your life.
If your score is 60 – 89: Your Authentic Joy is working hard to burst through to you. You are on the verge.
If your score is under 60: Your Authentic Joy is silent and while it is there, you are not feeling its presence as much as you deserve.
The purpose of this questionnaire is to inspire you so don’t be discouraged whatever your score.
It doesn’t matter where you begin. All that matters is that you do begin.
The Zen of Joy has 24 simple practices or “protocols” that literally take only minutes a day.
Minutes a day can give you the joy, energy and health you always wanted.
